Not Your Typical All-Inclusive: Bungalows Key Largo
We don’t typically gravitate towards all-inclusive resorts. We have friends, family and clients who love them. And they definitely serve their purpose. But they aren’t typically at the top of our list for places to stay while on vacation.
But, we will be the first to admit, we are in love with the brand new Bungalows Key Largo, the first all-inclusive resort to open in the Florida Keys. The resort opened its doors to guests just over a month ago. And the resort is an adults-only luxury resort which describes itself as an “island oasis built for downtime and disconnecting”.
The resort features an oceanfront infinity pool, Zen Garden Spa with a steam room and sauna, Fitness Tiki Hut with cardio equipment and weights, stand-up paddle-boards, snorkeling equipment and sea kayaks, daily sunrise yoga sessions and complimentary sunset cruises (when you stay five nights or longer).
In terms of dining options, the all-inclusive resort offers six restaurants, including a food truck called Largo Larry’s, all of which feature “locally sourced ingredients and top-shelf spirits.”
And Bungalows Key Largo is offering a grand opening limited time promotion. Garden Bungalows can be booked for as low as $399 per person, per night for a minimum 2 night stay. And waterfront bungalows start at $499 per person, per night for a minimum 2 night stay.
Garden Bungalows feature 1,100 square feet of space with a private veranda, soaking tub and outdoor shower and a private patio furnished with Adirondack chairs. Oceanfront bungalows have 900 square feet and include a secluded oceanfront veranda with deep soaking tub, a private patio furnished with Adirondack chairs and direct access to the semi-private beach. All of the bungalows are also supplied with two bicycles.
So yes, despite the fact that we typically aren’t drawn to all-inclusive resorts, we will absolutely be planning a stay at the Bungalows Key Largo.
